The productive subsidiary of CMR GROUP in Brazil, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility policy, has just installed 18 solar panels that will feed the automatic valve control system to optimize the use of irrigation water.
The implementation of this clean energy system contributes to a sustainable use of resources, and facilitates the conservation of native forests located between the different productive areas of melon, watermelon and papaya that the company owns in Rio Grande Do Norte, and where the local fauna and flora thrive.
The objective of the company is that the group's investments are aimed at obtaining ZERO WASTE products and complying with the agreements of the 2015 Paris protocol regarding greenhouse gases (GHG) and the reduction of nitrogenous fertilizers, promoting the sequestration of carbon in the soils it cultivates.
