The first shipment of BANARICA bananas has just arrived at the CMR Group facilities!

Extremely sweet and smooth, Banarica bananas grown in Guatemala offer a unique experience of aroma, flavor, and juiciness that will delight those who taste them.

Banarica bananas are grown in the Pacific, an ideal and strategic area characterized by a warm and humid tropical climate, which gives them exceptional organoleptic properties, appreciated throughout the world and now also in Spain.

With more than 30 years of experience in cultivation, Banarica bananas strictly comply with environmental and social standards, as evidenced by the fact that they are Global Gap certified for good agricultural practices and environmental stewardship, Rain Forest certified for responsible production, SCS certified as a guarantee of sustainable cultivation, NSF certified, ensuring that they meet the public health and safety standards established by the agency, and the guarantee of belonging to the World Compliance Association.

To ensure optimal conservation and the preservation of their properties, Banarica bananas are stored in a complex of cold storage units in Puerto Barrios prior to shipment. These units include a refrigerated warehouse with a capacity for 7,000 pallets, five independent cooling chambers, eight pre-cooling tunnels, and pressurized tunnels with a capacity for 384 pallets.
